If I could have a pound for every time I’ve written TATT (‘Tired All The Time’) in my notes I’d be a very rich man! Of course you are tired. If women were completely honest with each other about how tiring having a baby is in the first year, many women would be put off! Fortunately something can be done about it.
It might be necessary to exclude a few rare causes of tiredness such as anaemia. The main cause of tiredness is lack of sleep of course.
A constitutional medicine will be prescribed to give you a bit of a general boost.
This the best treatment I know for any form of unexplained tiredness because it allows you to relax profoundly for 10-20 minutes (or more) whenever you get the chance. Of course it might be more convenient to learn it before you give birth – but it’s not too late to do so afterwards though it’s best if someone else can look after your baby during your weekly lessons!
