Leon Chaitow is a registered osteopath and naturopath, author or over 70 books and Editor of the peer reviewed Journal of Bodywork & Movement Therapies (JBMT). He is acknowledged worldwide as a leading expert in the field of holistic and natural healthcare. Having qualified in 1960, Leon is one of the very few remaining physicians to have trained during the 'golden age' of Naturopathic medicine, and he comes from a lineage that includes Stanley Lief D.O. D.C., the founder of Champney health resort, and uncle Boris Chaitow.
Leon lectures internationally on both bodywork and general health topics, from integrated naturopathic & osteopathic perspectives (with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pelvic pain and breathing pattern disorders being his current primary areas of interest), mainly to GPs, physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and massage therapists.
Leon lives in Corfu with his family, visiting the UK several times a year when he is available for consultation. He also provides invaluable contributions to NMG diagnosis and treatment planning through electronic communication.
