Birth Preparation and Support
Mr Stefan Chmelik on Birth preparation & support
Being pregnant is not a disease, and giving birth should not be viewed as an illness. Unless there are specific medical complications, most women should expect to be able to have a trouble-free normal labour.
Being prepared is the key to that. We can provide a wealth of support, including nutritional advice, natural treatments for any pregnancy related problems, acupuncture before and during labour, turning the baby, help with overdue labour, placenta preparation post delivery, vaccine advice and alternatives and treatment for mother and baby after the birth, for speedy recovery as well as dealing with any complications that may have arisen.

Many women find Rolfing is invaluable when preparing their bodies for pregnancy. It brings about more support and stability for carrying a growing new life. Helping your body deal with a changing mid-line and centre of gravity can enable more efficient organ functioning and therefore better use of energy. Rolfing uses highly refined touch to remold and reshape your body as you prepare for your incredible journey. Getting ready to carry such a dramatic increase of weight can make this an important time to really consider your whole bodies structural health.
